Tuna Tataki

Preparation: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons sesame olive oil
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tuna steaks
- Sesame seeds
- 1 scallion
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, grated ginger, lemon juice, and soy sauce.
- Add the tuna steaks and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the grill or plancha to high heat and cook the tuna steaks for a few minutes per side, just until seared on the outside and rare in the center.
- Slice the tuna into thin strips and serve with the marinade as a sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds and chopped scallion.
Tips:
- For a more authentic flavor, use Japanese soy sauce.
- Serve the tataki with your favorite sushi sides, such as pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce.
