What is an electric griddle?
The electric griddle is a modern cooking appliance that allows you to grill, sear, and cook a wide variety of foods while preserving their flavours and textures. Unlike barbecues, it operates without a direct flame and offers even cooking thanks to its enamelled cast iron plate. ENO electric griddles are designed for use both inside the home and outdoors, thanks to their resistance to water splashes (IPX4 standard).

Maintaining an electric griddle, even an enameled cast iron electric griddle (which has a naturally nonstick surface), is essential to preserve your cooking appliance in the long term.
Moreover, regularly maintaining your griddle ensures an easy-to-clean appliance, by ensuring no residue builds up. For easy and quick cleaning after use, follow these steps:
- On the still-warm plate, scrape off residues with the wide stainless spatula and then with the stainless-steel ball holder equipped with a stainless steel ball.
- When the plate has cooled, use the damp stainless steel ball with Griddle Cleaner to degrease thoroughly, then finish with a damp microfibre cloth.
Don't forget to empty thedrip tray after each use!
If you haven’t cleaned your griddle right after cooking, for easy cleaning, simply turn it on again for a few minutes and proceed as described above.
